Brett Isaac
Brett Isaac is a member of the Navajo Nation and has worked with local chapters in the Nation to execute on numerous community development initiatives. Brett collaborated with the Navajo Community of Shonto in the development of Community Owned enterprises leading to the creation of a solar company on the Nation called Shonto Energy. Brett’s company has deployed over 200 off-grid solar systems to serve households without grid electricity. Brett is a Founder & Executive Chairman at Navajo Power.

Clara Pratte
Clara Pratte is a member of the Navajo Nation and formerly served as the Chief of Staff for the Navajo Nation and Interim CEO of Nova Corporation. Clara was the lead for tribal consultation for the U.S. Small Business Administration and the lead for the Navajo Nation tribal governments federal affairs office in Washington DC. Clara is a Founder & Managing Director of Operations at Navajo Power.

Josh Finn
Josh Finn held positions in structured finance and project development at SunPower, where he was involved in the deployment of 250 MW of commercial solar projects. Prior to that, Josh helped utilities and governments procure utility-scale renewable energy assets around the world at Black & Veatch and as a consultant to the World Bank. Josh is a Founder & Managing Director of Development at Navajo Power.

Adelita Barrett
Adelita Barrett brings a background in project finance to the Navajo Power team. Formerly she was a project finance associate at Cypress Creek Renewables, where she worked on deals financing over 300 MW of utility-scale solar in the U.S. She formerly held a position as a climate finance portfolio analyst at the World Bank. She has been recognized in the Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) Honors category for Clean Energy Finance and is a Clean Energy Leadership Institute (CELI) fellow. Adelita is Director of Project Finance & Development for Navajo Power.

Maggie Tallmadge
Maggie Tallmadge is a Citizen of the Cherokee Nation and has a background in utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage development and power marketing; energy and economic development capacity building; and legislative, electoral, ballot, and Public Utility Commission policy and campaign design. She is Co-Chair of the Affiliated Tribes of Northwest Indians (ATNI) Energy Committee and the Chair of the National Congress of American Indians' Energy & Mineral Policy Subcommittee. Maggie serves as Senior Development Manager at Navajo Power.

Merci Andrews
Prior to joining our team, Merci co-founded Women In Power, a mission driven company dedicated to help bring women to the forefront of the energy sector. She has served as a consultant, advisor project manager, and community engagement lead on 133 MW of distributed energy resources (DER). In her current role, as the Director of Marketing at Navajo Power; Merci pulls from her expertise in branding and content creation, as well as her professional experience in energy development to oversee the design and execution of Navajo Power’s branding strategy. In an elevated response to climate-based disasters, Merci has also been developing and implementing emergency services and disaster preparedness initiatives; gathering local resources and deploy emergency supplies to our community stakeholders.
Community & Workforce Development Liaison
Ceceilia Tso
Ms. Tso’s family is from Lukachukai, Arizona. Ceceilia created her own company Tso Consultants, LLC which works with tribes in Indigenous Leadership, as a trainer and facilitator. Ceceilia taught leadership in China at the World Academy for the Future of Women at Sias University. She has taken several trips to South Korea working with their universities and businesses to create economic development with tribal communities. Previously she was at the University of Utah for almost 15 years in various capacities working with faculty and staff to develop programs and funding for American Indians campus wide. While at the College of Education she was the Director of the American Indian Teacher Education Collaboration (AITEC), working with American Indians to become teachers. She is currently working at Navajo Power as the Community and Workforce Development Liaison.

Michael Cox
Michael Cox is an entrepreneur and organizer who led campaigns to catalyze the US Government’s support of impact investing and the University of California’s landmark commitment to sustainable practices. He drove an expansion strategy for Impact Hub across North America that supported the establishment of new locations and was a member of the global strategy team. Prior to that, he served as Special Assistant to the Founder and Chairman of the Calvert Funds, participating in the Special Equities program that made investments into impact venture funds and startups. Michael is the Chief of Staff at Navajo Power.
In Loving Memory of Nonabah Lane
We would like honor and remember the life of our great colleague Nonabah Lane. Her passion and drive inspires us everyday to live life as she would and her heart and spirit will live within us forever. Nonabah was an incredible friend, colleague and mentor, who impacted the lives of those who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Prior to joining Navajo Power, Nonabah co-founded Navajo Ethno-Agriculture, a farm that teaches Navajo culture through traditional farming and bilingual education. Nonabah also launched a campaign to partner with local Navajo schools and tribal colleges to create their own water testing capabilities a rad translate that data into information for local farmers.
